Morning Fog

Chuckle chuckle snort

I have a friend in real life. Seriously.
She is the mother of one of my youngest child’s friends. A mom friend. Classmate friend. You know. Our kids go to school together.
She is really nice. Really genuine. And quick to spot phonies and have little to do with them, so I always feel a tad flattered that she really seems to like me.

So now that we have that introduction out of the way, I just got this email from her and decided that it had to go in here.

11 people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, 10 men & 1 woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, they decided that 1 had to leave, otherwise they were all going to fall.

They weren’t able to name that person, until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her spouse, kids or for others in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.

As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping.
